Good news. Know the reason? I hate it when they won't let the tech talk tech to the the owner - as in my case of a seized motor.

they didnt even say why it powered up and let every thing come on but didnt let it start it is kind of odd. but they didnt say any thing other than put back on the original air box they cut into my freakin cold air induction box and they said put the other one on or we wont worrenty it. they said they had to do it to get to the pcm and i said it has allen key heads and they could have opened it up that way the service writer said he or the tech didnt know a freakin monke sees screws and knows how to remove them. i have contectd gm about it they said they should not have broken it because the cold air intake box is a air box. and they should not have done it. i also talked to the service manager i made him call the gm service line and talk to the person i talked to because he said it even said it didnt belonged. but the gm rep said it should have not been cut or damaged in any way and if he didnt replace it with in three days notify the rep

Did head gaskets on a 7th gen and it wouldn't start or crank. when I was done. Turned out the BCM took a dump. Put a new BCM in and programmed it and it fired right up.
