I bought a truck so my wife has been driving the monte, anyway about a week ago my wife parked at her job, she said she backed far away from this truck because she had a feeling that they where going to back in to the monte, any way they did and they ran, now i got a dent in the shape of a hitch ball in the front bumper almost in the middle, grrrr the police didnt do anything

 

Does your wifes employer have camera's on the building for security? We do at ours and have been able to stop some drivers that way... we also have some nice footage 2 years ago of a plow driver in a pickup backing up quickly and just clearing the hood of a car. Pretty wild.

Bastards!! Those people drive me nuts. Whatever happened to taking responsibility for your actions?

I caught a hit'n'runner a few years back. I was getting some hot chocolate in the lunchroom on the 4th floor and looked out on my truck. I had just put a $2700 paint job on it a few weeks prior. Saw a tourist park next to it and open his door right into my rocker panel. Took a chip right out of it. I reported him both to the police and the rental car company. The rental car company paid to have the damage fixed. I was lucky.

 

That sux man, I feel your pain. The first time I parked in my high school parkinglot with my brand new monte, somone crashed into my rear quarter pannel deneting and scratching a good 2 foot length. $700 later that was fixed. Like 3 months later I parked around the block from my school, bec. of what happened in the school parkinglot. I come back after school to drive home, and it looks like somone did a skateboard grind on the side of my hood! This time I know it was done on purpose, which really pissed me off. $150 later that was fixed. It really sux if you drive a nice car because its like it has a big target on it for a$$-h*lE$ to wreck it.
