man i wish i could have made that...it woud have been about the same drive for me as it would have been for yellow monte...but unfortunetely i had to work...hopefully whenever the next one is i will be there didn't notice any tony stewart editions...did you see any??

I learned that there is a way bigger event in Cincinatti Ohio called the Monte Nationals. There will be at least 150 Monte Carlos there I was told. Heres the link. http://www.montecarloclub.com/Monte_Nationals_Page.htm

The Monte Nats will probably not have any track time.

The Montes @ MIS was incredible. I sure hope I get to go again.

It was nice getting to meet & talk with those who went.

 

any word on a show for 2008? i'll have to make plans to go.... i can't wait to smoke all of ya'll on the track

 

The Montes @ MIS event?

I got an email from Mike last week.
(per his email)

I talked to MIS and they are willing to work with us for next year. That means everything will be about the same as this year, time (April), Money, and restrictions. So the question of where the show will be has been answered! WE ARE BACK AT MIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR!

Here is what we have determined so far about the show. It will be at MIS. We will have events scheduled on Fri.. evening and all day sat. Theregistration fee will be $75.00 for everything you had this year. You will also be able to purchase additional laps for $25.00. Earlybird registration will be $65.00 reg. fee and $20.00 for additional laps (dates will be released later). Most people said they wouldn't mind Impalas joining us next year, so I will be checking into that (if you know an Impala car club let me know). Most would like vendors selling stuff for Monte's there. The 50/50 and the road rally will continue.

 

WOO HOOO!!! I'm going to see if I can make some plans to attend.. its 9 months away though. I certainly hope I cna make it... I'd say right now I got a 75% chance of attending.
