I'm not sure where to put this thread, so I'll start it here. I went looking to stock up on Mobil-1 oil (my preferred oil) since I was running low. I tried looking for pricing info online, but couldn't find any good up to date info. After visiting several local stores and sites, it turns out Autozone was running a sale on 5 quarts plus a "free" M-1 filter for $30. Sale ends tomorrow here in NJ. Limit two offers. The next best price I saw was around $35 at Costco for a six quart box. Everywhere else seems to be right around $8.19 per quart not on sale.

I'd like to see a thread like this, maybe dedicated to all synthetics instead of just M-1 to expand the group of folks that would be interested in it, with info posted regularly on who has the best price in your area. Maybe a seperate, similar thread for conventionals? If something like this exists already, please let me know.

You know I couldn't find that thread by searching, but now that I'm in the General section I see a post about this deal down the page a bit. Just posted a reply there regarding Wix filters. Since the M-1's are free I'll use them, but I usually make the special trip to NAPA (a few miles out of the way) for their Gold filters.
