I'll tell you though, I'm not looking forward to driving 2842 miles. To date, the Farthest I've driven in one shot was from The Bronx to San Antonio Tx. and back. It was an OK trip until I got to the Tx. border. The first sign said "welcome to Texas, the Lone Star State". The next sign said "Houston, 385 miles" and I had to drive 200 or so miles south of Houston. I had already driven 900+ miles just to get to that point. I wanted to turn around and go home. But that was a longer trip and I had orders to be in San Antonio by a certain time and date.
