Keeping the Monte clean during the winter?
Hey guys. I'm new to this site, and just recently bought my monte in late August of this year. I live in Connecticut where the winters are harsh and the roads can get pretty nasty with salt and sand. Since we will be getting below freezing temps pretty soon, and washing the car gets tough because of ice, I thought I'd ask anyone from the north how you wash your car or keep the Salt and Sand off the car as much as possible? I want to make sure I get all that crud off the monte (especially the undercarriage) to prevent rust and build-up.

Try to find a shop that will do the winter undercoating spray.
Then just try to go once a week to a car wash (do it yourself) and just hose it off with soap and water. Avoid the brushes and all that junk.
On warm days, try to wash it by hand the usual way you do.
