i'd rather repaint the front bumper/hood every year or so then have to deal with an unsightly bra.

Guess none of you will like my next planned upgrade either. So, I"ll just keep it to myself.

UPDATE:

I took the advice some of you posted. I called AutoAnything last friday. Spoke with David.

According to him, after 30 days the bra is completely mine. I explained when I called back in december to ask about ordering one for the 2003 Monte that said I planned on this being a Christmas present. And even the instructons say to install the bra with the temps above 65 degrees. So I had to wait for winter to be over to even do this even though the car does set inside most of the time. Still, it's not a heated building it sets in.
David said he understood but the policy is after 30 days......... no returns.

I've been thinking this over, over the past weekend. I think I'll try emailing AutoAnything. See what response I get that way?

OH. and yes the bra I odered is the wrong one. At least for a Monte Carlo with the High Sport package it is.

That's a shame that you even asked to make sure it was the right one, and wound up with the wrong bra

Hopefully they can do something for you? Maybe even if you can return and get the new one and pay a little?

Default Car bra.....

....I just ordered one for my car on the 6th of this month. My order confirmation says that it will ship in July.
JULY !?
Is that normal ? I was specific in the order and there were sub models to order from such as "supercharged ss" for the 05.
But not until July ?

I ordered one through Autoanything in early April & Mine won't ship till the beginning of June. I contacted autoanything and they got that info direct from the company. If it doesn't come a week before nationals, I'm probably going to cancel my order.

That sounds about right - a 2 month wait.

i understand the purpose of a car bra, but im not sure about driving around with one on.

you are very protective of your monte, garaged during the winter and covered up during the summer.

lol i was at work today and a tooling guy came in with a newer mustang gt500, and my boss has a shelby about the same year. he was talking to me and saying that it wasnt a "real"gt500 and i told him hes just jealous he dodnt bring in his to park next to the other guy. he quickly replied, no im not its gonna rain today.

the moral of the story is id personally rather drive a car than spend 50'000 and let it sit in a garage 97 percent of the time.

I'm not a big fan of the look of the bras either, but I'd rather protect my paint on long trips than risk paint damage. Like I said earlier, my new paint job on the 05 is already getting paint chips just from the 40 mile round trip I have to drive to work and I have to stop anymore damage. I can't afford to keep getting my hood and front bumper repainted.
