Looking over my scans and mods I think my Knock issue might just be not enough fueling. Putting on this GenV and N* is just going to make that worse.

I figure I'll get those on though and add some fuel and I should be able to drop to 3.25.

Well that's why I'm paying ZZP to install my IC. Because if, and when, there are any problems, you bet your *** they're gonna fix it free of charge...

I think it's the DIY's that actually install their IC wrong, and end up blaming the design or gaskets, etc, when it really was just lack of mechanical knowledge.

Good plan. I'm not sure on the DIY's mechanical ability or parts. I've heard some guys that routinely pull the engine apart have problems while others are just fine.

I think I'll let you test it for a year and get back to me.

Are they going to be done with it today?

Oh, no, they're starting install today... the tranny was to be finished around lunch.. then back to ZZP to tear apart the engine, drop the cradle, pull the cam and install the new one. Then tomorrow morning will be the IC install, along with final installs of the New Aluminum Valve covers, and then afternoon dyno pulls and tune. Then I'm on my way back home to smoke the everloving **** out of the local rustangs. =)

I had a bonus day today for spending.

Got my whole NorthStar Kit off Club GP for $250 shipped vs. $290 + Shipping at ZZP.

Also got some new GoodYear TripleTred tires. Normally $150 a peice = $600. Well I agreed at $325. Drove to Chicago to pick them up vs. paying for shipping and then found out they were the wrong size. I use 235/55/R17 and these were 215's. He actually advertised them as 225's and I knew those would be fine.

We confirmed they will fit my rim fine and he dropped the price to $275. Can't go wrong there. Just need to use the HPTuner to lock in the correct tire size now.

You'll love that northstar kit.. it's excellent...

Hey, 215's just mean you dont have as much sidewalls.. no big deal =)

Glad you got a few things that'll do ya good for alot cheaper!

Tomorrow morning I check out, and am headed over to ZZP.. they're ahead of schedule, so should have a dyno tune witn numbers by 3ish...

Also, I found out they're going to give me a 300 dollar credit for my old blower, as well as a 10 dollar credit per injector, as well as 20 dollars for my old fuel rail.. that means that I am going to get HID's for both my high and low beams... =)

I'm not sure why, but I plan to keep all my OEM equipment. I have my old exhaust in the rafters of the garage with the air intake and rockers.

Gen 3 blower and TB will be joining them shortly.
