All I have to say is WOW...both to the video and some of the comments I read in this thread. Obviously this guy has been misinformed about his vehicle, but will ******* and belittling him change anything? I'll bet if every single person that made a derogatory statement looked back on their past they'd remember at least one time that they were ignorant about something. There's nothing wrong with being ignorant. Ignorance can be cured through education and experience. However, as of yet there is no known cure for stupidity...think about it.

 

Umm....Who cares? He is providing us entertainment. There are millions of morons that I will gladly make fun of. I'm sure there are tons that make fun of me.

I've found other (non-GM) forums that have posted pictures of my Monte, and have called me and my Monte "as redneck as it gets". Do you see me worrying about it? No. I got over it. I realize that not everyone is going to like the same things I do. So I manned up and decided to choose my battles and let it go.

Yes sometimes people go overboard with insults that aren't called for. And those people need to apologize when necessary. But if I make a bunch of claims that are not true or ridiculous, I need to expect to be called out on it and take a little ribbing about it. That's part of life. In real life, people don't all dance around singing songs together in perfect harmony. Life isn't a Disney movie.

We learn from our mistakes.

On that note, it's our job to inform the guy in the video of where he's mistaken. That's why I asked to see the underside of his car. There's a 1% chance that someone might have infact installed a true dual exhaust. Not likely, but possible.
