i don't know what happen or what cause his axle to snap, might be the crappy zzp axle decide to give out who knows. all he told me was the was doing the E brake burn out at the water box that's when it snapped.
20 psi was what i air it up to and launch and 1500 rpm. the QTP size is 26 x 9.50 x 16. btw i was running full weight forgot to take off the spare and jack....ooops! stock converter, it will stay stock unless i go turbo. my bullitts on the back are 18x9 on 255/45 rubber..i think that might hold me back little bit.

sounds like you were running alot of air in the slicks. whats the stall speed to that converter? cause it should be higher then 1500 and on a set of slicks i would try and come out of the hole at stall speed. i saw your dyno but dont recall where your torque was peaking. but i think next time around you should run a lower pressure and try and get the slicks up to temp and then come out as hard as the converter will allow. i dont think the bullitts held you back. theyre probably heavy but shouldnt be an issue. the car is obviously making good power its just the launch thats hurting you.

Congrats! I would love to go to the track someday. I want my Fiance to bring his 69 Chevelle L78 to the track - I am dying to see what that will do!

thanks amy, i think you should see what silver would run. silver vs. silver would be cool. that's what me and the other silver monte did. we made 2 passes against each other. oh can you believe it i got a damn speeding ticket too on the way to the track at Deerfield. 52 mph @ 35 mph limit. i don't remember going that fast. i hate traffic school!!!
