i've modded mine pretty good...
i started out being NA and decided i was tired of having a hard time out running hondas....so go big or go home...before going for major power i had the car lowered and had my exhaust all tweaked by getting rid of the ubend and resonator and then replaced the stock mufflers with some flowmasters...and then the big stuff started to happen!
i then decided to top swap it keeping the high compression pistons and i had the heads, supercharger, and tb ported before putting it all together...i shortly then put headers on it and dropped pulley size to a 3.4 and had a mail tune sent to me with my mods programmed in it (bad idea)...i ended up almost blowing the motor running lean at WOT and i chipped 4 out of the 6 pistons...Talked to a friend of mine and he told me he could save it so i gave him the car and he pulled the engine and replaced the piston heads while also installing a new VS cam from comp cams. He put it all back together and told me he suggests i go with bigger injectors and a high flow fuel pump so i took his advice and bought 42 lb injectors and a walbro 250 fuel pump. he then took it to the dyno and dyno tuned it and i was pushing out 305whp which he told me was roughly 385crank...i was very happy with the numbers but he told me i was only at 16* of timing and he could've went further but my input shaft wouldn't hold up very well and he didnt want to ruin my tranny!...so right now i'm saving up for a new rebuilt tranny and then he is going to finish tuning it and hopefully hit 310whp...and i might do an intercooler and another pulley drop with the tranny so we will see!!
