I had been driving for 7 years before I got my Monte, 0 tickets, since then 4 in 2 years, all for speeding, the worst was for 75 in a 35, if only that jack *** would have let me merge before my lane ended...

 

i lost count after the 5th one... that was about 3 years ago.... ive had atleast 4 since then, ive got 10 points on my license, one more ticket and i lose it

 

With my Monte? 2 tickets in 2 states within 30 minutes of eachother, lol....don't want to get into details, I try to forget that day, hey, my Monte does NOT like to drive slow, she HATES it!

I've gotten 3 tickets for not wearing a seatbelt (legit - i used to never wear 'em and still think its against my civic rights to be forced to wear one), 2 speeding tickets and a "care and control while impaired". That is to say I'm the only person I know to have lost their license for DUI without actually driving a car.

When I was 20 I owned an '86 Prelude. My sister and I were at a club that had free parking. After it closed we went to my car to use my cell to call a cab (at the time, a long time ago, not many had cell phones and they weren't really pocket sized - you would leave it in the car when clubbing). My friends got in their car drunk and drove away living happily ever after. While a waited for my cab an ununiformed cop on foot pulled me out of the driver seat, had a partner call a cruiser and away I went to the clink. The key was in the ignition, but the engine was not running. I even had the phone record in court (back then every call, billed minutely, showed up on your cell phone bill) proving I called a cab before the time of arrest, but they threw the book at me. Technically, I was in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence. I lost my license for total of 15 months, was fined $2000 and really felt like I wasted another $2000 on the loser lawyer.

That was a bad year and a long time ago anyways. I've never been busted for crap in the Monte because quite honestly, I think the cops like it!

Yes! The first and only time I got pulled over in my 3 years of driving, was a month ago, I was driving a few towns over with a friend of mine getting slurpees, because we were bored. Cop gets next to me and is pacing me, I'm doing the speed limit and everything, he pulls me over. I was nervous with it being my first time. He said he believed me and he let me go. I was wearing a red shirt and even with the tan seat belt, he didn't see it. I don't know how but I looked at it myself, and it really is hard to see!

 

 

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got another seatbelt ticket two nights ago!!!!!! No kidding, Im lost on what to do here?
