How to fix the outside temperature sensor?
How do I go about fixing the outside temperature sensor in my car? There is something really wrong with it, most times it reads between 20 and 35 degrees when it is actually close to 90 degrees outside here most days. Sometimes, after driving for awhile, it snaps out of it and works fine, then a few miles down the road or after I shut it off and leave it for awhile, it starts doing it all over again.
How can this be fixed?

That's weird, I figured it would be near the rearview mirror somewhere. Can it be replaced you think?

Yes it can be replaced. A simple plug and play item. Look for this item by your latch area... Before you but one, see if the existing connector is not fouled from oils, radiator coolant etc. Look for frayed wires or poor connection.
