Default Need help
I found an 86 Monte Carlo ss 350 on Craigslist , seller states the car only has 4k miles on the motor and is selling for 5500 does this sound legit?

Could be. But I bet it's not a crate motor, it is probably a used motor that is rebuilt.

Seems like a fair price for a car with a new engine. Doubt those are original miles. Price will vary depending on what shape the car is in.

80s cars were major rust buckets, so, make sure to inspect it carefully.
