Default Question about temperature sensor...

Hi everyone! The temperature gauge isn't working. I can't, for the life of me, find the heat sensor on the manifold. It is not the 305, but is 350 crate motor, if that matters. Anyone have any pics, suggestions?

If my memoroy serves me right ( and i am sure that it doesnt ) its either ON the thermostat housing or the either the left or right of it or on one of the heads.

Thinking about it, i think its on the heads. Look there. Just below your exhaust manifold.

Something else. best way to know if its the temp sensor is take off the wire and ground it. Your gauge should move. If it does, the bad switch. if it doesn't, then it could be either wiring or the gauge itself.

I'll definitely check it out. Hopefully it's just the wire and I can replace it. Thanks!

Just fixed it! You were right, it was right by driver's side header. Plugged it in, and voila! Thanks guys!
