Default Highest mileage 2007?

Hi, I am the original owner to a 2007 LT, 3.5L. I originally wasn't planning on putting a lot of miles on the vehicle when I first purchased it but a job change 3 years later and I am now over 286,000 miles. It is still going on the original engine and transmission and I average between 28 and 30 mpg - driving mostly highway. I wanted to see if there was anyone else close to my mileage with a 2007 - since there was less than 11,000 vehicles produced. It has been a great car for the past 12 years.

that"s cool! i don't have a 7th gen Monte Carlo i got a sixth gen it's got the highest mileage i have seen in person. but props to still keeping it around most people begin to freak out about miles and i don't completely get it. I think it really comes down to maintenance but with our cars the only thing i worry about is the transmission. but still cool to hear!

My car just went over 84,000 miles and I had to replace the transmission at 82K.... You are lucky to have not seen the issues that plague these cars. My car was six years old when I bought it, and honestly I had no idea how bad the transmission was until I put this new one in and couldn't believe the difference...

As far as I know the transmission in the red car is the neglected original as the fluid is the burnt color but it’s still going through the gears so we’re good there but just know I wasn’t the one that neglected it I don’t condone that but it’s how I bought it for five hundred dollars

I have changed the tranny fluid 3 times - at about 80K on each interval. I change the oil every 5K... Mostly at the shop now, but in the summertime I still change it myself and use Mobil 1 full synthetic.
