What is next?

RE: What is next?
Don't be sad if you have the car all Mod-ed your way and they have been trouble-free miles. Think about how good its running. Think about adding thousands of more trouble-free miles; too.
That's what I do.
70,000 and climbing!

wellya really want to feel bad. in a year i have added WAY to many miles to mine. When it was shipped over from Germany it had less then 32,000 on it. now it is almost to 43,000
in a year!! the car is 4 years old and has never seen so many miles in one year. Thanks to my job being 15 miles one way . it is killing me for miles

RE: What is next?
That's NOTHING! Try driving 100+ miles/day usually 6 days/weem, just commuting. I bought Dale 2 years ago Feb 11, He had 4,975 miles on him. He now has almost 71,000 miles, and I still have 2 years of payments! NOT A PROBLEM! I sold my black '01 SS LE with 116,000 miles on her, but she wasn't enough. I needed the L67 to mod where I wanted to mod to, and I've done pretty good so far, but I still have a LONG way to go. Maybe by the time he's paid for I'll be close, but probably that's when things will REALLY start to happen. That should be at about 150,000 miles.
It appears my next mod, tho unexpected right now, will be to kick up the stereo a notch by adding 2 amps, 500 true watts each, for 4 subs in custom boxes. Everything JL Audio. We'll see if it happens, but likely. BTW, I just bought a concealed radar detector/jammer for Lucy, LadyT's Solstice GXP.
Be glad you've been able to drive him so much, and I hope your NEXT 50K is as enjoyable as the 1st 50K.

Atleast you have a car that will last a bit longer, I've known friends with a few imports that didn't make it past the 60-70k mark, and yet I think my car and dad's Camaro are the only one's in my family with less than 100k on 'em.
Hell I've had my Monte since Aug. of '06 and got it with 16k on it. It's sitting at about 48k right now...

If you're able to, buya daily driver that's cheap on gas and save the Monte for weekend cruising.
You have to live and that means moving about in our society. It's either put the miles on the Monte or another vehicle unless your last name is Trump and you get to ride in a limo?
I have two daily drivers. I got my '06 Monte in october, 2006 and still haven't put 3k miles on it. But that was my plan from the beginning.
Just don't ask how many miles are on my '86 LS Monte.
(208,000 something. IT had over 160k when I got it)
