Hey guys!! I need your guys advice
Hello everyone
I really need you guys advice on this
Right now im searching for a Monte Carlo around in my area
and i stumbled across this 95' Monte LS for $1,795 Link Here
The thing that strikes me most about this car is it's low price and Milage (over 280,000)
I'm searching for my first car and i don't want to get stuck with a lemon
so if you guys could give your intake on this whole situation i'd much appreciate it
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Hmmm...she looks a little rough around the edges and 289K is a lot of miles. They offer a Carfax report that says there are 10 entries found on that car's VIN. Check that out and see if there was anything major on there. The price is pretty cheap, but even for that price, I would think twice about buying a 289K mile car.
FYI...kbb.com lists the car at just over $2K SRP for that year and mileage, but it assumes "Excellent" condition. On the Private Party Value, where condition is listed at "Fair," it prices at $1,075; $1,705 for "Excellent" condition.
Good luck!!

I would agree on the second thinking about a car with that many miles - you will run into alot of problems once things start going (and they will) better to invest you $$ in something that will last longer. Have you checked your local classifieds? You can search on craigslist.com or www.oodle.com or cars.com and choose your area for they year you're looking for - On a personal note, my 99 monte had 66k on it when I traded it and they only wanted to give me $2500 at first. I would check around your area (my area - Metro Detroit has 95 - 99 MC's going for around $2500 that aren't all ate up with miles that you can still afford to make look like your own) Let me know if I can assist in the search!!

P.S. I'll disregard the request for the "guys" help!! LOL
