I will like to hear more about this, I went stock to stock against a Buick GS, he had the stock 3.8 and I have the stock 3.4, and I got beat by a car length, I had a good launch tho...

The fact that he's cammed is huge. A good 40hp boost if tuned right. The only real place you have an advantage is the fact that your subframe is aluminum. Which gives you a roughly good weight advantage right there. But since he's 100lbs lighter than you then it's pretty much voided. I say he puts a good couple cars on you. At least a .5s - .75s time difference would be my guess. The SLP headers are definitely a better quality header but I don't know how much of a performance gain it would net. The tranny will help too, so I wouldn't be suprised to see it on the higher end of .75s difference. Possibly a full second. What's your exhaust like? If he has a full catback and you're working with the stock system I'd definitely say a full second then.

The only way he's even at highhhhh 12's is if he has a lopey *** cam, but still on a 3.4 pulley... If it's topswapped or intercooled, I could see it differently... Either that or spray...

there is no way his car is in the 12's at all. im saying in a 1/4 if both have a excellent reaction and hook up he got you by half to a full car length. what cam does he have? and head work?

PacerSS, not too sure exactly what kind of exhaust he has, but I have 3' piping, no ubend no cat no res, flowtech mufflers and flowmaster 4' tips. neither are running stock exhaust that's for sure though.

Nitehawkjcb, he does have a gen 5 blower against my gen 3 lol but no spray.

Turbo Monte, his head work is stock and he has the intense racing stage 1 cam. I don't really think he's in the 12s either. there's a guy here that owns a regal, and he says he's running 13 flat. That guy beat my buddy by maybe a fender if that.

My friend is waiting to race me this spring as well as a few other cars. I am working on getting a cam myself to make it a more even race? other cars wanting to race me are: srt4 putting 400 to the wheels, 97 SHO polished and ported everything n/a motor, stock 2013 civic si, g35 coupe unknown mods, and obviously my friends 98 gtp. It'll be good! Lol

3.4 on a Gen V is a 3.3/3.2 on a Gen III, so he's most likely in mid 13's. With only a stage 1 cam on stock heads and no I/C, he's got a ways to go before he gets the car where he says it is now.
