that spacer wont work on the ls4 the ones everyone uses is the one from the envoy but its the smaller motor its a 4. something.

yeah ive read that thread but didnt want to go back through it. i just new it wasnt that spacer and that it was for a funky motor that in the envoys and what not.

I wouldn't bother with it, unless you've done every other mod you could, and can't think of anything else.

Buy a downpipe instead, that's what im waiting to do lol

 

For anyone who cares, I just picked up an Airaid throttle body spacer from another member on LS1Tech for $40 shipped. He said he had used it only 2K miles and it comes with all the original parts. I'll wait to pick up my K&N intake to install it and I'll post up my review soon there after.

It sounds pretty promising, especially combined with the TBS and intake.

 

The seat of the pants dyno is pleased with the Airaid TBS combined with the K&N intake, and the sound isn't bad either. It's tolerable. I'm hoping for the some better MPG numbers with these two mods as well.
