Question GMPP Exhaust question.

What is it made up of?
I mean, over stock SS... I ask because they've been discontinued, but would the mufflers still be available along with the tips?
I'm assuming that's the only difference between stock and gmpp, correct? Or am I missing something?

Oh, also...tips don't do anything for sound right, they're just cosmetic?

Thanks guys.

The GMPP exhaust (from my understanding) is an Unbranded Magnaflow system. It is 2.5" 409SS piping with a 304SS 18" Resonator, 2 304SS mufflers, and 2 304SS 4" Tips.

Thanks Mike, do you think most if not all shops would understand those terms? :P
I've have my wiz cai, soon SD headers, pcm is on the way and now would like to prepare for a decent sounding exhaust.

They should understand the grades of stainless steel. 409SS will allow surface rust, but should NOT rust completely through, and 304SS should stay shiny for much longer.
