Info: GM Ignition Switch Recall
I got 3 recall notices in the mail yesterday. Nothing like every car you own having a "recall" on it.
They promptly went in the trash. Unless GM wants to fix the actual problem, this isn't worth my time.

Either way i wouldn't trust someone else holding my key, that would seem too fishy to me.
Until the car is paid off, they keep one key and a lien on the car. I make my payments directly to them.
Not that it applies to me, but my daughter says it has really cut down on the cost of repo on cars that people don't want to pay for...LOL

Glad there is no lean on My Minion. I'd go Ballistic is the dealer, New or Used, said they were going to keep a key until the car was payed off. And if they insisted, I would say Fine, then go have all the locks changed!
I agree with Mike, this fix is just a waste of time. Keane's picture is a great example of how easy it is for anyone to add more key rings. It solves absolutely nothing.
