Dang I'm good. Found it in under 5 min.

Do a google search for the "Magnusson-Moss act"

Here is a link that describes it in a nutshell: http://www.pt-tuning.com/policies/Magn-Moss-Act.html

Also so you don't have to deal with alot of dealership BS, I always recommend a don't ask don't tell policy... Did you have a smaller pulley on your supercharger - no idea what your talking about man.

True they will fix things not related to the modded part but it is YOU who have to prove it didn't have anything to do with the broken part. Again depends on your relationship with the dealer. As for the pulley all they have to do is measure, and MINE DID JUST THAT!!!! I was lucky enough and had a "cool" dealership who fixed my problem anyways. Just be careful, just my .02 worth.

if your looking for better gas mileage... i have an option for you. its not cheep.

$400 will get you a DHP power tuner. with that tuner you can modify your stock computer. it will look the same scan the same GM will never know the diff. if they want to be dicks. they might reflash it, but then when you get home you can reflash it. they have no way to scan the Computer's file and read it to see if it was modified.

there are a few guys with the DHP that used it for mpg tunes and have seen 38 mpg on mid grade fuel! there are a lot of people with this tuner and plenty of people willing to lend a hand helping you to tune it just right. yes its 400 dollars but this is prob the best mod. you get better mileage and can get the car to run better and last longer.... or you can tune it to make gobbs of power on a day you want to take it to the track then tune it back for the drive home.

The DHP will do it, but I wouldn't recommend going to mid grade in either case. Over the course of 100,000 miles you will spend about $500 more on premium gas (100,000 / 30MPG X $0.15 difference in price) and with forced induction there is just that much more issue with KR. Stick with premium... your car will love you for it.

go to an automotive store, buy 3 sets of floormats, and put them all on the driver's side. Or go to the lumber yard and get a scrap piece of wood, place wood under gas pedal.
