i just painted the rear of the emblem and hoped for the best. Surprisingly, it did not see to effect the color much.

Make sure you post pictures God_bot

Alright, I'll have to try that. I guess I'm gonna paint it black then. I was hoping to do it in the same silver as the car, but I'm pretty sure the plastic would tint the silver.

Okay so here are a few pictures I took with my computer of the emblem...

Plastic piece with backing without the foil

Clear plastic piece

Back side of clear plastic after paint (Testors Enamel - Black)

Yeah no problem, I just wish I had a chance to get pictures of it on the car. The pictures in my sig were taken back in June and they are a bit outdated as there are bits here and there that have changed. I just hope it's not gonna rain tomorrow like the forcast is calling for. I just washed the monte...

Looks excellent! Oh man, that is so going to be done on my trunk when I figgure out what color I want it.... I'm thinking if I do the vinyl's it'll either be black to match the stripes, or blue to match the pinz, or silver matching the paint for a double-blind sort of effect.

The black bow tie will look a lot better on my silver car then the gold one does.

You know that would be kind of cool. Paint the bow tie silver so it disappears against the car. All you see is the chrome bow tie outline.
