ok everyone need your opinion. So for the show sat you if you are one of the first 100 cars to get there you get a 1:64 scale model, here is my dilemma. I bought the pace car vinyl decals for the car and need to put them on. I am dropping off my car for detailing and swirl removal tonight and will get it back friday around 5pm. Roll in for the show is from 10-12. If I go and put the pace car kit on I wont be out of there until 12 and they said its ok if I arive late. Do you think its worth getting there 30 min before the show starts which is at 1 or do I go early for the model and have the kit put on monday?

I would recommend just go to the show and get the model. Otherwise, if you're like me, you're going to try and RUSH doing something you DON'T want to rush. Set yourself up to be able to take your TIME with the decals.

For the decals the place said it would take 3 hours. which means it will be done at 12 and the show starts at 1

OH, I missed you were having a shop doing it. Eh, I'd still wait.... If you need to "tidy" anything up after they put the decals on, you run the chance of just being late to the show.
Typically, the early guys to a show also get the nicer spaces.

Yeah and im getting it detalied this guy uses a oil based product so it actually adheres to the clearcoat and fills in 70-80% of swirls. His car is always smooth feels like silk.
