I used a flat base and than used a clear coat, pretty much painted em like i would a car

I have to get an engine cover before I can think about painting it. But when I had my TB off last w/e, I was thinking I could polish it up all nice nice, but then I would need to clear coat it to keep it looking that way. Is there a hi temp clesr coat out there? B-)
