Default Cryogenically treated brake rotors

Are these worth the added costs or just a marketing ploy?

Everything I know about cryogenics tells me that IF the price is right, it will be well worth the money. I got 130,000+ miles on my Powerslot front rotors, and have 150,000+ miles on my Powerslot rears. They'll hit 200,000 easy, as long as everything else holds out.
I also only use Hawk HPS pads.
Will the cryo' rotors hold up better? Will they resist warp better? All VERY good questions!

That being said, I think you might like this:

TireRack has Centric Cryo-Stop rotors (the same Centric Premium rotors PowerSlot uses as their starting point) for $62ea for fronts and $46ea for rears. Apparently PowerSlot is Centrics performance division. So it would be about $245 shipped for front and rear Centric Premium Cryo-Stop rotors. Not bad huh? If I could get as much use out of these as you did out of yours I'd be a happy camper.

That's a GREAT price, as long as they are slotted. I firmly believe that the slots have added to the life of the rotors. They keep them clean, more than anything.

Not slotted I heard slotted wears out the pads quicker. Is that your experience? How often would you say you replace your pads?

Slotted Cryo-Stops are alot more expensive, like $50 more, each, for fronts
