Couple Mod questions.
umm.. I need a new grill, mine has bubble from the heat of the summer time.. I was wondering if I should pay 30.00 to but the grill fencing type stuff at advanced autoparts and take the old one out and put that in.. it looks okay.. and is it hard to get my door off to my front speakers? because I want to put some new ones in there.. and i need help with my tail lights I want them to be darkend but never seem to find anything to do that with.
If you like the look of the grill fencing, go for it. $30 is not overly expensive considering the cost of a new grill. You can always try to find a replacement grill at a junkyard, ebay, or (last resort) dealership if you don't like it.
The tail lights are easy. Get a can of VHT Nightshade. Sprays on just like spraypaint. You can make it as dark as you like. After you get the darkness you like, spray some clearcoat overtop to protect it.
Sorry I can't help with the door panel.

I used to see it at Walmart, even, but I haven't seen it there in a while. Last place I saw it was Pepboys.
I prefer the look of that over the blackout taillight covers. I think those are TOO dark. The nightshade ends up looking like a factory job.

if u want actual covers that arent that dark u can order the ones off andysautosport.com that are made by gts...just get the carbon fiber cause they rnt that dark (basically its a carbon fiber grid molded in plastic) ...the only problem is that u have to find a way to seal them off and not fog up with the change in temperature between the air inside vs the air outside (havent figured that one out yet)
to remove your door follow these directions
GENTLY!!!! pry off the fake wood trim. get one of those small multiple alan wrench's that look like a pocket knife and remove the alan head screw. take a phillips head screwdriver and remove screw behind the door handle inside the car, pull door handle to open position and remove that trim piece then using a small flat head unhook the electrical connection on the trim. then with a flathead unhook the electrical connection to the windows thru the hole where the handle trim used to be, then with your phillips remove the screw at the top of the door panel where the side view mirror bolts to the door, then go around the door panel with ur phillips and remove any screws that might be there. now pick up gently via the handle u use to close the door then pull towards you and it'll pop off. NOW BE CAREFUL because the wires for the side view mirror controls are still there. and there u go your door panel is now off.
i used vht on my taillights, makes em black as can be until u hit he lights then the light shines thru perfectly but do NOT spray clear coat on it after your done, my bro did that and it made em fade and look crappy. you can see how mine look with just the vht and cleaning them just like youwould any part of the car, and dont get that mesh crap get a billet grill looks better and is only 10 bucks more then that 35 dollar mesh crap. pics below will show u what the vht and billet will look like
