Considering buying an 87 LS

you may also want to take a good hard look at the vinyl top. they tend to develop rust and bubble up under there. i didnt look to close at the pics but also look at the headliner they have a tendency to sag. thats all i can think of. other then the dash has a tendency to crack.

Congrats and welcome tho the monte carlo family. Looks like a pretty nice car. What color is it I cant tell from the pics. Also your questions are welcomed, keep em coming.

Funny you should ask about the colour. It's a Ford colour actually. Sort of champagne, I don't have the exact colour code handy. I think it was grey originally.
I'm considering respraying it, quite a few nicks in the paint. Would be the same colour I think. It does look good, despite being a Ford colour.

Fuel is expensive, about 6 USD pr gallon, I'd estimate. But it could be worse. I could be in Britain, where fuel is about the same price, but salaries are a lot lower. I keep telling myself that what I'm paying for in fuel I'm getting back as sound from the engine. Besides, when you look as good as you do in a Monte Carlo, who cares about fuel costs?
