i want to put a cai (cold air intake) on my 96 ls has anyone had problem with this application. and what about the sensors on the factory tube that goes to the throttle body? What happenes to them? DO i even need thos wires? And what about performance? Does anyone notice a difference?

 

i think z34 phoenix made his own and he says it works really well, i would imagine you would have to drill a whole in the tube and get a rubber grommet in it to push the sensor through, i think with the 95-99 models you have to make your own cai, i haven't seen one made by k&n or anything

Your best bet on that is to call ZZP. They are great at answering questions and very helpful.

 

yeah ill do that, or better yet ill take my car up there because i live like 2 minutes away from the zzp performance in Grand Rapids
