nice buddy.... just checked the price, $18-35 depending on the brand.
Then 12 bucks is a good buy. I didn't think it was too bad.

No telling what the dealer wanted.[:'(]

Darn good price.

Prices I got where from Advance Auto.

the only thing i can tell ya is to turn your wipers on and get them up in the middel of the window like when your changing your wiper blades.

Also if you have a favorit incent you can stuff about 4 of them in it so when you turn on the filter in your car it will give you that sent threw the car. and it will get rid of the tree hanging in your car.

Also when they are done in there you can take them in the house and burn them to get more stink out of them.

just shove them in the folds of the filter not threw it. also make sure they are on the top side so they have the air pulling them in to the filter,

Go HERE and go to the How To section and look for the "Replacing the Passenger Compartment Air Filter" link to see a step by step.

Ok, changed the cabin filter today and boy did it need it. I bought the car used with 62,000 on it and the original filter was completely filled with dirt and debris. I'm surprised I was getting any airflow at all in the interior.
Not too bad of a job though. I can see why they make the filter so it bends.

Thanks to 03SSdriver for the Auto Zone tip.....$11.99 like you said.

Same story here fella's.

35,5...and... something miles and mine sure needed changing.
I questioned GM's 12,000 mile replacement. I don't anymore.

Super simple to do. Waxed around the filter area & below the windshield to protect it, and treated the rubber. I'm a clean freak.

If you haven't done it.. do it.
