its probably never been changed.
omg mine was disgusting. whenever I had the fresh air on it smelled like nasty moldy basement. *gag*
took it out and it was almost as black as a neglected engine air filter!

You should also go into the USERCP settings, and there are options to show older threads. This way you might find threads that haven't been posted in, for a while, such as older how-tos
