are they on too tight? like rubbing on the rotors?

i have a question. i did my brakes and replased the stock pad with ceramic in the rear. the pads were held in by metal clips. i didnt get any new clips i jus bent the old ones and nowall i hear is a metal scraping sound. does anyone know if i can just take the clips off entirly on a 01 ss

peoples, you should just replace the whole thing, prices will probably be similar once you start buying new parts, and it will perform and look better depending on what you go with

whole new brakes, there'd obviously be a price difference, but new brakes and everything will look alot nicer and perform better, thats what id do at least if i had the money

lol, sorry im not sure about the clips, a local shop might be able to take a look at it for cheap, im not really sure where the noise would be coming from tho

yeaa, i dont see that really being a problem as long as you dont bend it so it cant be bent back or gets weak and breaks
