Default Burnishing brakes?

Just replaced my pads & rotors today

I'm wondering if it's normal to hear noise at the beginning, I did several stops on the way home from my dads house and it's noisey as hell.

When should I expect my brakes to nicely STFU? lol or is there anything we may have done incorrect?

Did you put slotted, or Drilled and slotted rotors on it? If so, a little noise is normal until they break in...

If its just regular rotors and pads, then I would say it should have been quite from the start, unless the pads have a break in coating on them like EBC pads do...

are they ceramic pads? You will notice a little bit of noise at first.

Sometimes stuff comes with coatings and you just gotta wear it off. Or maybe they put the brake with the wear sensor on the wrong side?

They are the high grade replacement rotors from the auto parts store. & I have hawk HPS pads.

The noise has gotten less but last night I could hear a scraping noise coming from the rear right while driving.

If I have time today I'll be getting my oil changed, and during the inspection maybe they can kindly fix anything that's wrong.

Well I asked them to check my brakes at the dealship & they didn't say anything to me about em... They are just about silent now, except at slow speeds?.... & I can hear some scrapping or something coming from the rear passenger side...

Minus all the bad news, stopping wise there are no issues, it grabs very nice and solid.
