Broken A/C. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
with a daily average of 105 degrees, this just wont do.
im pretty sure its just the fan. i can hear it click and the sound of something running, which is what i always hear right before the air comes out (it always takes a sec. i guess because its electric and not vacuum? or so iv been told) but the air never came out
i guess thats the compressor running.
luckily it rained while i was at work, so by the time i went to leave, it had cooled off outside and the ride home wasnt bad... but this has got to be fixed ASAP... and id really like to save some $$ and do it myself (if possible)

Does the fan blow at all?
I guess you can open the hood and see if the compressor is engaging and while being carful feel the line to the evaporator (bigger line) it should be cold. The return line to the condenser (smaller line) should be hot.

I was going to ask if it was all the fan speeds or just the first two. The resistors on the fan speed selector tend to go. Had to replace the resistor for the first two speeds on my 99 Grand Am a couple times. Have you checked the obvious? Fuses, relays, etc?
Had a smiliar problem on my dads gmc envoy. Compressor would enguage but no fan no matter what you did. Fix was to replace the resistor pack.
It was all speeds. I was actually getting cold air. I cracked a window to see if any air would come through, and it did.
But, it worked fine on my way to work today. So I'm thinking its probably a bad connection somewhere.
