mine did not pop up until Oct. from that point on it has gotten worse.
Its worth pulling the panel off and repairing the ground wire.

I've got over 23,000 miles on mine, and it's 1 year and 2 months old... this issue popped up sometime around Sept. I think for me. Just waiting for my service guy to call me when the new updated parts/fix are available.

I wonder how much a problem this is with the '06 Montes?
My guy said they're having this problem with ALL of the the Montes and Impalas they've sold... he said they're all starting to come back in with this issue.

oh, it'll happen...

It's the ol' Field of Dreams scenario... the Service Departments telling the auto manufacturers - "If you build it, they will come (to us)!" LOL cha-ching!

Well just got off the phone with my dealer,
The parts (antenna and remotes are starting to come it), but GM is doing all the Impala's first, they have pulled the Monte off the list for now. Dealer is sending me the info

I guess since 260,000 Impala's have been sold vs 30,000 Montes they come first.....

Thats wrong but thats the way it is when it comes to the number game....[:@]

That wouldn't work in my neck of the woods. I'd be in the service dept. everyday bitching until it got fixed correctly, however, I've yet to have any problems with my 06 LTZ.
