Granted, some people like to debadge their rides, but I think the knight's crest is PART of the Monte Carlo, and there HAS to be one somewhere....

Totallyyy agree. That's one reason why I don't want one of those SLP grilles & if I got a 5th or 7th gen I had already decided that I'm putting the knight somewhere. It was so dumb that GM took that off for those years.

& I think it looks good Kyle

Thanks!

That's the only place that they didn't look ridiculously out of place. If the roof wasn't so rounded, they'd looks nice between the side rear windows and the rear window, like the G6 MC.

It would be sharp to have G6 MC script on a G5, as well.

I wonder if the SLP grill has enough space to put the knight's crest back in the original spot?? Or if that would look out of place. If so, you could try "moving" the crest. I'm not a big fan of the crest high on the rear quarters.... Perhaps down low on the rear quarters OR on the trunk lid (say above the trunk lock or have the trunk lock shaved and just pop it on top). I know OLDER Montes had an emblem that allowed being placed over the trunk lock with a hole to gain access to the lock....

First Gens. This particular one is a 1971 SS 454. Very rare...only 1,919 were made.

Looking Good! For a split second I thought that a "G5" referred to a Pontiac G5 LOL.
