Default Acceleration

I don't know if its because my 2 previous cars were a 91' Cougar and a 98' Camry.

but GOT DAMN.. M.C.'s really take off..... I've had the car for a little over a week. and it takes off like a rocket..and so EFFORTLESS at that... I've left so many people in my dust without even really trying. The gas pedal is so responsive.

I think I'm in love.

Yeah they have a great amount of low-end torque... now wait until you start to mod it

I was out enjoying my Monte saturday, sunday, and monday. I was enjoying the acceleration very much. Glad to hear you're enjoying your car.

Glad your enjoying how the Monte feels man. But like its been said, if you think its fast now, wait till you start modding.

As for me, I'll just keep putt-putting along.

I must add that the initial low end pull is what sold me on the monte. I love the way my 02 SS pulls away from the line even though it is only stock. I was just out driving this morning and was enjoying the morning air and made an interesting discovery. When you take off rather quickly you can can actually see the fuel level drop. lol. o well all in good fun.

Yes they take off quick. I just timed my mostly stock 3.4 LS the other day. 7.5 sec 0-60. Seems pretty quick to me.
