thanks for your support. i have to check i think the flushed my coolant, at least thats what it says on my reciept. i had a lot of stuff to do after work, then i passed out. i am very satisfied on how the second dealer treated me and i kinda rushed out of there when i picked it up. ill chck back in and tell the boss man how impressed i was with their service.


it says they did the head and intake gaskets, coolant, bolts, i had just changed the oil to mobile 1 and put a 10 dollar filter on there. idk if they changed my oil too??? ill have to check that out. it seems to idle way better now.


is the 09 malibu similar to the w body style or completly different??? after driving it for a week it seems to have a way smoother ride and makes me question if i need to invest in some suspension upgrades. thanks again.

 

The 2009 Malibu is a totally different frame. Its geared more so toward comfort (suspension wise) than a Monte, so yes it would be smoother. The Monte I think already is smooth, but keep in mind it is somewhat performance oriented, so it handles well, so you loose a small degree of ride comfort.
