i just got a speedbuilt fenderwall intake and boy what a difference. the first thing i noticed when i started her up was the sound, its throaty as hell now which is cool. a noticable power increase as well. definitely pulls harder throughout the rpm's. i'd get a picture of it up but i dropped by camera at the bar the other night and now its busted, but thats another story. next on the plate is ignition system, any input as to what i should get for that would be apprecaited.. i wanna get plugs wires coil packs and possibly an ignition box (is an ignition box worth it though?). thanks in advance

I looked at those before I gutted my airbox. Maybe it's time to give it a try...

 

yea pfcy.com. i got the K&N filter in the mail first and i just ripped my airbox and put that on my stock intake tube. i could hear the difference and feel a little bit better power. i cant use the first elbow of the fwi system though becuase the mass airflow sensor on the 3400 is different from the 3800. on the 3400 it connects right before the intake box, and there is another vacuum line that there isnt on the 3800. so i just used the stock elbow and it all fit together nicely. i just wonder how much better it would be if i could use the elbow outa the throttle body as well. I would definitley buy it, makes your car sound soo much better. im getting about 15 miles to the gallon right now cuz every stop light i hit, i gotta step on it and just hear it growl and feel the acceleration it gave me haha. now im not pickin a fight or anything but my LS will beat an SS, if anyone is in the baltimore area and doesnt think so, ill prove it haha.
