So have had this issue for years now, I don’t know exactly what it is and haven’t had extra cash to fix it. From 1-2 it’ll take awhile for it shift like not a second or 2 but like 10 seconds but it’s only the first shift of the day, after it does that if I stop and start driving it’ll shift perfectly fine, now having issues in 3rd gear where it’s slipping, put foot into rpms go all the way up but car doesn’t move, obviously don’t do that I’ve been babying it. But it’s not everytime it’s every now and then. Other than that the cars flawless and good mechanically . Just trying to figure out if the trans itself is junk or if the solenoids are bad. Anyone else have this issue and had it fixed? Or anyone have any advice? I’m at a lost here

Assuming the fluid level is correct and the fluid/ filter have been changed at least as frequently as the manual recommends, I'd plan on a rebuild.
These transmissions aren't particularly robust, so even if you went through all the diagnostics to figure out which single part is failing, I'd still be wary of not freshening everything else up while you've got it apart.
Even if it is a solenoid issue, those clutches are still taking a ton of abuse if its slipping that bad.
