Default 1984 Monte Carlo ss 23k original miles

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and new to the Monte Carlo. I have found a 1984 fourth generation SS Monte Carlo that has been in a private collection for the past 30 years. The car is immaculate, clear coat doesn't have a scratch interior is perfect. This car literally looks brand new. The dealer who has it is asking 10,500 for it. I'm new to this car but been around cars. My question is, is this car worth the money? It's a true ss the vin number is legit. The only problem with the car is the front cap looks to be repainted, will this effect the value? And also, if kept in the current condition or close to it with a few miles put on it will it hold it's value overtime? Thanks for any input.

Hi there, welcome to the MCF! I'm not sure what the car is worth but I've heard this a lot "something is only worth what a person is willing to pay for it" so my thought on it is "if you like it Buy It". You only live once so enjoy it!

Price wise, if it's all original and clean like you say, then that's pretty much a good deal to on par for what it's worth. As far as if if will maintain the values in a few years... Hard to tell, but the montes are slowly and steady gaining popularity... So there's a good chance that the value won't decrease
