I called Diablosport yesterday to see if their 06 programmer would work on my 07 ss and it doesn't. I was told that was a different PCM and GM made the PCMs harder to modifiy due to their 5yr/100,000 mile warrenty. He asked for my VIN and told me to call back in three weeks. Oh, well, In the mean time I am going to cut off the resonator and put a straight pipe in and take the stock mufflers out and put flowmaster 40s on.

 

Since the motor and tranny is still the same between the two, I wonder if just replacing the ECM and TCM (under the airbox) with 2006 ones would work??

(after they've been correctly flashed with your VIN and a case relearn performed of course...)

 

hmm, that may be an option. I will have to talk to my buddy that works at the dealership to get some wiring diagrams between the two, just to make sure the wires to the pcm are in the same place. Thanks
