Default 07 Monte

Hi,

Wow, just wondering if I own an instant classic. I see that GM is not offering the LTZ or the 3.9 on the Monte for 07

Hmmm...interesting.

Could be a rare model like the '86 Aerocoupe, who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.

I followed the Aerocoupe registry. I've never seen or heard of one til now. I'd love to have one Noticed that most are registered in Nascar's backyard. I wonder if Leno has one.

Looks like the Monte is on it's way out the door.

Wonder why they ditched the 3.9L....

The consumers determine the life and death of a product. If they like it - more likely it will have a good sales life - but if they love it, a bestseller is born. Meanwhile, unpopular products end up in incinerators. With this line of argument, it is also the consumer that determines the development of an industry or it's end[X(].

"All good things come to an end ?". Is there any changes to the 07 Monte Carlo ?
Do you think 07 will be the last year for Monte Carlo's ? [X(]

There are many rumors out there regarding the fate of the Monte, unfortunately most of them predict that GM will kill the line and bring it back several years later on a different platform, possibly the ZETA if it's still around.

GM’s past behavior has shown that this is a very good possibility….

Considering how fugly the Malibu is, I wonder if GM will ever consider bringing back the Chevelle....My Monte reminds me much of my 67 Sweetheart that I miss so dearly.

Unfortunatly the Monte Carlo will be history in 2008. GM thinks that the new Camaro can replace our cars. LOL. I know my 05 Mustang has a very small back seat - lets see how many people they can fit in the back of the new Camaro. So large size coupes for GM will be history. And as far as i'm conserned the future with GM and me will be history. GM does plan on making a large platform car in 2010 that maybe will be RWD but they will discontinue the Impala name. They will continue to make a larger Malabu in 08. But, every new car platform for GM is either Opel from Europe, Holden from Austraila, or Daewoo from Korea. There will be no more "American made" GM cars anymore (except for the Corvette and new Camaro). I am so pissed with GM right now - I think I am going to Mopar!
