No problem. Years ago, I have an issue with the sunroof drain in my grand am. I ran a piece of wires that was not super stiff so it could pass through the drain and flex as needed, but stiff enough to push through any blockage. I noticed the shop book recommends compressed air which might be a better answer (or at least first try).

How are the door sills attached, can I just pop them up, are they on clips?

You got it. Just a gentle pull up. They just snap into the body. No screws or special tools required.
