Default 06 taking on water....

Seriously, this has been an ongoing issue but this is ridiculous. where to start to fix this water leak on passengers side floor. are there holes that could be clogged? if so where are they and how to unclog? cabin filter is another option that could be causing this, I'm not the most mechanically inclined but at this point this needs fixed asap, any help would be great, pic attached......

Two thoughts come to mind. First is sunroof drains.

But second is checking around the cowl. The 2006 should already have the fix documented in this thread (but worth inspecting):

Which part are you getting?

Seems like a good deal (that its cheap and that its able to be had relatively quickly) assuming it fixes the problem.

I know your pain on this- my 99 gtp used to do the same (sunroof drains on that car).

yep, I understand but from the thread that was posted the part from a dealer is......It is really just a big piece of plastic but it's under $4 at the dealer.
GM Part # 15794785

I'm sure is has been discontinued by now for these year cars and there is a mark-up, but $89.00 is a bit steep...

With the amount of water on the sill near where the door opens... have you pulled back the rubber at the bottom of the door and made sure the drain wasn't clogged up?

Correct, in theory you should not need that $4 part. But, would not hurt to take the cowl apart and double check that the part is infact there (it wasn't removed or damaged somehow).
