New TSB is out
they took the Monte's off it and now only includes the Impala unless you raise enough cain....

The new update now replaces the remote FOB's and the antenna plus reprogramming of the receiver unit......

Just got my 2006 LTZ back from the dealer. Replaced receiver, antenna, remotes and reprogramed computer per TSB 06-08-52-002D. Did not have any tire press messages and the range on the remotes was a LOOONNNGGG way!
Also had them reprogram the AC TSB 06-01-39-006 and lube the drive shafts (knocking) , Service Bulletin???

2006 LTZ is a GREAT Car, still have my 1999 Monte Carlo and its running stong at 180K!!!!!

I'm having the same problem with my '06 SS. The remotes won't work until your about 10ft or closer to the car and the tire pressure monitors will lose communication with the car every so often. The dealership has ordered a new receiver and they said they will just reprogramboth remotes. I hope that's the case and it's an easy fix.My sales guy said that they have been having this problem on all the vehicles with this setup. Sounds like they should have kept the Monte's on the TSB!

Thanks for the info. My 2006 Monte SS just started having issues with the remote. Real minor on remote start here and there and now the monitor tire system came on. Bringing it in this week to get checked out & printed TSB & info posted here. Thanks for the Info! Great Site!

Wow- these are related? These are the only issues I have had so far, and the car was going in the shop for the tire pressure system next week. Great info!

I've had thepressure sensor/remote problem for months, but have just been too lazy to get it into the dealership. I don't understand the concern over the TSB, and whether or not the Monte is included. If a car is still under full warranty and there's a problem, they have to fix it...with or without a TSB. Conversely, a TSB alonedoes notmean a free repair for carson which the warranty has expired. I may be wrong about this, but I don't think so.

When I finally take mine in, I don't give a rat's a** if there's a TSB or not - as long as it's fixed when I pick it up.
