yah i noticed the single hood shock too...i thought that was wierd as well...but i guess to save 20 or 30 bucks on every car would be a huge deal....i've been thinking about just putting a second one on anyway...

I noticed that the steering wheel controls to seem to be a bit different. I haven't noticed if the volume controls are lit or not, but I definately noticed that the station/mute/call on the right and the Resume/Set Cruise control buttons on the left are lit.I think they went with a different button because my 2003 had the lit buttons (not the stereo controls, just cruise buttons) and the coating that blocked the light actually flaked off. I was able to replace the buttons for cheap before I traded it in, but that was a definate over-sight if you ask me. The new buttons seem to be different so that they shouldn't be succeptible to flaking off like on my 03. My favorite button is the mute/pause button, because my 03 when I was using the CD there was no pause/mute, so you had to turn it off which took longer than the new mute/pause button does. When on Sirius I still have to use the pause on that unit, because its the only way I can use the memory and not miss the song if it happens to be one I like.
