06 Monte, Lighted steering wheel controls, sunroof
Hello to all. I've noticed that on my new 06 Monte SS, the volume control on the steering wheel is not lit like the other controls, nor is the sunroof open close buttons on the over head console with the airbag and homelink pod. Is this the way the cars are -or is my car bunk? Anywho, it's under warrenty.
thanks!

My wife just traded a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica on a 2007 Pacifica. The 05 had a glove box light, the 07 does not. They always said car companies copy one another.Did anyone see in the business news today that GM is in talks with Diamler Chrysler about possibly buying Chrysler????????????

LOL!![sm=funnypostabove.gif]
Yeah...I saw that about Chrysler. I hope they don't do it. Why waste all that money on buying a dying brand when you could put those funds into further development and improvement of the existing models?

Thaks to all for replying. I just find it odd that the radio volume buttons are not lit as opposed to the others. Due to their location, and frequent use, those are the ones that should be lit? Yeah, it sucs - no glove box light. My 04 GMC Sierra has no glove box light, under dash lights, or hood light. I went and bought the hood light and glove box lights for a 02 Sierra and installed them - what a difference. What they will do to save a few pennies. what about only one strut holding up the hood??? Please don't close from the right side or the whole hood will bend out of wack. All things aside I love this car. Loved them since they first came out and i rented a 00 - or was 02, first year of this style and drove it to Albuquerque NM; it was the base price one, but I cried when it was time to turn it in. My new SS is so much faster then my old 88 L98 IROC, and i thought that was the s*it when I was back in college. Good to have the muscle back.
thanks again,
