im just all talk. i dont understand how the engine hooks up to the tranny on a fwd car. doesnt the engine hook to the transfer case then the tranny???

im not that knowlagable on that stuff, but i have a friend whos whole family does dirt track racing and does that type of **** for fun.

i wont get the ss cause i have an issue with the ground effects. and dont want a v8. there making cars that have the output of a v8 w/o the weight and thirst nowadays. plus i have so much invested in this car. i would have to buy another amp to power the speakers, take off the exhaust and get a new one b4 i sell it. the rest is easy but still.

a dealer would give me nothing for my car compared to a stocker, i dont understand why but thats what everyone tells me.

well im sure you could take off the ground effects and sell them. im sure that there are many ppl on here that would want them. and the ls4 isnt some iron blocked small block that weighs a lot. its all aluminum id be surprised if its heavier than the l67, and i think you would get less for the car modified because not everyone is into the same stuff. like you may like your exhaust but not everyone that walks through the dealer doors will. if its stock it leaves a blank page for everyone. once its modded theres only niche buyers that will be interested. that and whenever you buy something modded you always have to wonder what kind of gypsies were playing around with it before you got it. anyway to each his own. i think it would be cheaper to just buy an ls4 car than it would be to get that high value motor and go through all the the crap to get it in your current car. i see this all the time and more importantly have been victim of it myself. throwing money into something thats not worth it. my 80 is prime example after all the time and money spent on that car i could have bought a couple of finished big block novas. get out before you throw more money into the money pit.
